The DF should be 824.6 as well as he DA.
The procedure
is for trimalleolar fx so the codes would be 79.36/27823-RT. The removal of the Hoffman (external fixator) was from
the previous surgery. It was removed on this encounter and should be coded. 78.67/20694. There was no external
device placed at the end of this procedure.
